Yoghurt Drink

Postby fabryuk » Sun Aug 12, 2007 7:58 pm

Recently went to Japan recently- One of the shop was selling a ultra fresh milk and yoghurt drink. Tried a small bottle first, then got hooked. Bought a large bottle and finished it in 1 day

I think it is a freshly made yohurt drink- it is unfavoured, taste a bit soury and mild ly sweet- the taste is devine, so natural and fresh

Been trying to get it in sg but no avail- is there any shop or supermarket that sell nice yoghurt drink? Most of the supermarket yoghurt drink tastes like fruit juice....

Or any kind soul here can teach me how to make yoghurt drink

You can try buying Calpico/Calpis @ Meidi Ya and the small Jap fish market in Parkway Parade. They have Calpico which you add ice water to make yoghurt drink, or ready-made carbonated calpis yoghurt drink.

Cheapest to make your own yoghurt and then use it for blending with fruits and veggies! :D

I fully agree...oh I miss Calpis Soda...could not even find it at the new Yamakawa at Central?? Out of stock.

Didn't notice the ones at Parkway and have not been to Meidi Ya for a long time.

It's about time to make that trip. Thanks for the tip

You can try this new brand, Jalna, from Jasons in City Hall or Cold Storage in Great World City. It's more natural and comes from Australia. Problem is, it's so darn expensive!! $12 for a large bottle and $4 for a small one.

marigold nonfat, no sugar plain yogurt... $5.50 for 1kg tub now at NTUC
(64 kcal per 125g serving, 0 fat/10 carb/6 protein) :D

add own fruit, or blend with water and ice and abit of sugar to make lassi..

tastes great, inexpensive, and full of healthy goodness

Yeah dear. Yoghurt Drink is also something like Green drink. Though, These both are not same but still I will prefer this drink over some other energy drink.

You can add some fruits like strawberry or blueberry in your yogurt also to make things really tasty. Or you can also add fruit juice and make shake of yogurt and fruit juice of your favorite flavor to make it in your own way. I simply add 1/4 glass of Goji Berry Juice and remaining yogurt to make my favorite refreshing shake of summers.

Yoghurt drinks often come in portion packs, making them easy to consume on-the-go and a healthy product for quick eating.
